Triangle

The happy pose because it opens your heart chakra and allows joy to envelope you! It tones your spine and waist. It strengthens your breath. Forming triangles with your body teaches it a sense of direction. Feet 3 or 4 feet apart, one foot facing out, the other angled in toward front foot. Lift arm up and over to side. The length of your stretch does not equal the quality of your yoga. Don’t be so eager to touch your ankle that you cut off your energy by misalignment. Pretend your shoulders are staying pressed against an invisible wall behind you. Hips open. Your energy will soar!
