About
In the beginning ...
Yoyoga.com was established in 1996 as one of the first Yoga websites on the Internet. It caught the eye of an Editor at Simon & Schuster who approached Joan to write for The Complete Idiot’s Guide series. She was hired as the Expert Author and paired with Eve Adamson. They went on to create numerous editions of several titles in this best-selling series: The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Yoga (4 editions, Carolyn Flynn joined for the 4th), The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Meditation (2 editions), and The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Massage. Foreign translations include French, Spanish, Turkish, Polish, Bulgarian, Russian, Romanian and more. DK Publishing recently released The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Meditation 2nd edition on Audible.com.
